Personality
Primrose runs the show. She involves herself in everything we do and loves to chim in with her thoughts. She’s independent and clever, but loyal to the core. She’s made up of all of our favorite traits of the Poodle breed.
Why She's in the Program
Primrose is the highly anticipated of continuation of Josephine’s line. She’s confident and emotionally stable, which allows her to be exposed to new people and environments and she calmly engages to learn more.
Why We Love Her
Primrose is the boss, she likes to act as supervisor at the house and dictate which dogs should go where. She’s a good boss though, being astute at reading emotions and keeping a good beat on the overall energy in the home. Despite all attempts I’ve tried with treats, she has chosen Bill to be her favorite, letting me know if I’m interfering with her time with him. She’s loyal inside and out, maybe a little more to Bill than me, but still loyal to the family.
She loves to be involved in everything we do and is so smart. Her intelligence can get her trouble from time to time as she has figured out how to open our cabinet doors. She has a complex palate and will alway support me in my dinner taste testing and menu selection.
Her athleticism and gorgeous looks are exactly what we hoped to get when we kept a daughter out of Josephine. She is that beautiful balance between fun-loving energetic and intelligent Poodle, but also the relaxed and stable temperament that you’d want in your home.
She’s Sweet Enough to Let Us use Her Bed
Despite only being 45 lbs., Primrose has developed her own Yoga moves that have allowed her to take up nearly three times the size of her body in bed. Thankfully, I still have 18 inches on my side to sleep on my side. I thank her every morning for letting me use her King-Size bed.
