Tamarack’s Primrose- Canine Good Citizen & Certified Therapy Dog through TDI
21″ at the shoulder, approximately 45 lbs.
Tamarack’s Walter of Wonder
20″ at the shoulder, approximately 40 lbs.
Size & Color
Primrose is expecting a litter of pups that will be black, blue, and possibly silver. We expect these puppies to range from 40-45 lbs. about 21 inches at the shoulder. They are the perfect size dog, not so little they are delicate, but not so big that they require other accommodations. The perfect size for therapy, service, and to wrestle with kids.
Temperament & Personality
These pups will be confident and calm, like their parents. Temperament is surprisingly genetic and these parents are passing on the best genes for the job. They will be low in reactivity and emotionally stable. Of course all puppies have their own personalities, but that’s why we do temperament testing.
Activity & Lifestyle
These pups will thrive in homes where they are involved in the day-to-day activities of the family, whether that’s therapy work, service work, or as the perfect, make-your-friends-jealous companions. They will do well with kids, but will also thrive in a home where the family is gone to work during the day. They want to be with you and involved in your day.
We’re Excited for this Litter!
We are super excited! Primrose had a positive ultrasound and it is definite! She is finally expecting puppies! We expect this litter to arrive in late February, 2026 and the pups will be ready for their homes in April. This will be Walter’s first litter. Walter is a very confident poodle who loves his family. He is sweet and attentive and he is always up a romp with his sister Luna.
We’ve always loved Prim and her gentle demeanor. She loves to be involved, but if you are busy, she doesn’t push, she’ll patiently wait for your affections. She is very relaxed. When she’s out in public, she isn’t distracted by what is going on around her, instead she is focused, aware of her surroundings, but never loses track of me and what we’re doing. Making her an excellent mama for therapy puppies.
Together we expect to have a litter of amazing therapy-quality puppies. We were able to place five puppies out of Primrose’s last litter into either therapy or service work. We expect similar results with this litter and we’d love to help you get the perfect dog for your family.
