July 2025 Update

Boo is now officially named Abigail.  She has been matched and working with Jackson County Sherriff’s office as a therapy dog.  

November 2024 Update

Boo has started her adventure in training with Highland Canine. We aren’t sure yet whether she’ll lean into a law enforcement position or service work, but that’s because she’s young and her preferences are still developing as she’s exposed to new things and environments.

It’s ideal when the pup’s preferences aligns with the type of work they’ll be doing, this way they have the best life: waking up each morning to do a job they love. (I know I do this with breeding … if it weren’t for the puppy poop).
