You have got to meet Candy Keehn Jelly Bean! Or, Candy, as her family calls her.
She is a sweet petite girl who loves everyone, humans and dogs alike. She is especially gentle and calm with kids. Candy loves to cuddle and be pet, which makes her a wonderful therapy dog. She is so happy when working.
Candy has been accepted as a therapy dog with Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs and is actively working as an Airport Therapy Dog at JFK International Airport in NYC. Linda, of Positive Canine Training & Services, has done a remarkable job with her and we couldn’t be more proud! JFK is the busiest airport in the New York and Candy is amazing. She handles the crowds like a pro. Candy not only provides comfort to people under stress, she also provides comfort to other dogs under stress.
Candy has the very important job of helping to socialize anxious and fearful dogs. She takes on the roll of therapy dog to dogs in need. She has a special talent of reading other dogs. She knows when to be playful and when to be neutral.
Candy is smart and super trainable. She has her Novice Trick Dog Title and Canine Good Citizen Title. She passed her therapy dog test with ease at just 1 year old.
Her latest endeavor is working as a Therapy Dog for North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York.
We are super proud of this Primrose pup and can’t wait to see what her future holds.
